I tried this out and it worked with just a couple of issues. This is my experience but ymmv.

1. Uber didn’t let me cancel the order and refund because they said it can only be canceled with 5 mins of placing order. It takes the restaurant longer to prepare.

I marked as picked up then damaged as instructed.

2. I did it again a few weeks later and got notification from UE driver app that my account had too many of these in short time period.

I stopped for worry that it would flag/ban my UE driver account.
