what do you think would be more advantageous to rent or house or get a mortgage.I think renting a house is better because you dont have to get into any debt and you mobility without having to qualify for a loan

rent , depending on where you live the only difference between rent and morgage is the price. for instance in a lot of countries there is no security for your home ownership , especially if your property can just be reclaimed by the state even if you have not done anything.

This is a very good point, additionally there is permanent rent in the form of property taxes.

I believe that renting is better due to the freedom to move and the opportunity cost of making a downpayment into a mortgage. Additionally, most homes exist in depressing suburban developments while apartments can be in walkable and livable areas.

personally i would rather live in a suburb or just far away from people in general than a big city . a good method for getting cheap rent in a city is a guardianship of an abandoned or vacant building it basically means that the building is in the process of being sold or transfered to another owner which can take years , basically you do not have to pay as much and you can get an ok room for quite cheap.
