I use Fedora i3 (spin) as our Linux distribution for a few reasons. First off, their update policy is on point. it's super light on system resources, especially with i3. And finally the stability.
The only downside, perhaps, is that it might not be as optimized for dedicated graphics as Pop!_OS.
What Linux distro are you using and why?

I would say depends, if for a server or for a desktop or laptop.
If I would built a server I would probably take Debian, instead of Ubuntu or so.
Ubuntu just doesn't anything valuable. You can still get a newer version of php or python or so on debian or run them via kubernetes or so.
Desktop is another story and many factors play part of it:
Is the Desktop for you and are you familiar with Linux or is it for somebody else, who used Winodws/MacOS there whole life?
As it is about "what are you using and why":
Actually the question is not that important anymore.
It more depends on which package manager you like, but flatpak makes many questions like that irrelevant.
It probably depends also on the Desktop UI you like.
In the end a distro should help you and probably not be in the way.
I like for example the stability and the FOSS of Debian, but at the same time like a newer version of software, so on a personal device it would probably not suite my needs.
Maybe this helps anyone get to think more what they actually want and what would suit them.

I'm using WattOS R13 on my laptop, which I do pretty much everything besides gaming on. It's incredibly light and has an easy to use UI. Comes with absolutely no bloatware and the customization that you can do is insane. Being based off of Debian, it's super reliable as well :3. For gaming, I use a modded version of windows.
