?I contacted rekk on 21 July 2023 for an amazon.co.uk refund. He accepted and said it will take 2-5 days. ?I kept contacting him after five days, he kept me updated with the progress, and advised me to wait a little bit longer. After almost 3 weeks he messaged me to say that it’s been refunded and sent me the screenshot of the Amazon transaction, showing the refund. I paid him as agreed, and waited for the refund to hit my bank. This takes 24 hours with the bank drop I use. ?
Furthermore, when I tried logging in to the account on Amazon to check the progress of the refund, I got a message to say the account has been closed for the misuse of Amazon services.
I waited 14 days before contacting him on 24 August 2023 and let him know I haven’t received anything.??He told me to wait until Friday 1 September, and if it’s not sorted out by then, he will refund me the fees that I’ve paid him. On 2 September 2023 he said he ‘talked with them’ and ‘account closure cancelled the refund’. He asked for my wallet address for the refund.
On 4 September 2023 I contacted him and he said he will refund on that day, he claimed to have problems with Hermespay. In the evening I contacted him again. The he said he cannot confirm whether the refund has failed or not and I should email Amazon asking to temporarily reopen the account. First of all, he claimed that he has spoken to them and its verified that it has failed, even given me a reason. He claimed to have spoken to @Lucas about my case. Second, he asked me at the beginning of the process to change the email to a Yopmail address which cannot send emails, only receive, so there’s no way for me to email them. I’m done waiting.
Furthermore, I’m out of the 30 day window and the account is closed so I cant return the item. I will have to resell for less than I bought it for. So I’d like to get a compensation for this as well.
