I usually lurk around the forums only using the marketplace to buy stuff. Crimetime caught my eye and I went ahead with trying to make my summer collection after seeeing his vouches on this thread. I bought;
Dior Sauvage Elixir
Creed Aventus
Xerjoff Erba Pura
LV Imagination
I already had Elixir on hand and proceeced to test it 1v1 with the original. I went ahead and did a test on a moustirized part of my hand and then an unmoisturized part of my hand. The opening of the fragnance was the same, the pat down was the same, they both lasted about 6 hours on the unmoisturized part of my hand and around 9 hours on the moisturized part. The difference was very subtle, and it was most probably NOT due to the fragnance being a dupe. The atomizer of the original bottlee spews a jet of liquid as compared to the typical splash of perfume that the decanted bottles give. This resulted in the original bottle spewing more perfume and henceforth, performing better. Giving more sprays of the decanted bottle is probably my way to go now.
I had a sample of Creed Aventus in hand from my purchase of Elixir from Douglas. Again, the fragnance was a 1:1 when more splashes are used since the bottles this comes in have a very typical atomizer. But again, comparing it to the 225$ bottle I would rather use bro over here seeing how the longevity, performance and smell is 100% the same. Or perhaps find someone selling a empty bottle and refilling it would fix the atomizer problem.
Erba pura absolutely BLEW my mind. Its opening as compared to Elixir ( both original and crimetimes ) was not alcoholic. It was a sudden hit of a beach breeze. I was fascinated with Erba Pura after smelling it on a colleague and this indeed was 100% the exact smell I smelled from him that day. It could be me fan girling the smell, it could be hype but I did not have a tester at hand for Erba Pura nor had I ever owned the original.
If you are taking my word for it, I would 100% recommend to go for Erba Pura and LV Imagination for your summer collection. Both the smells were so genuine, so mind blowing from crimetime just like the rest. Crimetime himself is a very responsive guy and is very serious with his business.
The guy and his fragnances are legit.
