I have found the perfect ramen noodle recipe for someone who lacks space for larger appliances or the cost for larger appliances. (i.e. microwave, air fryer, griddle, etc.) I purchased a mini/micro skillet from my local produce store that was on clearance. Less than 10 pounds was the cost, and it's very compact. The ingredients you'll need..

  • Ramen
  • Ramen Flavoring Packet (Chicken preferred although others work great too)
  • Water
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Red Chili Pepper Flakes
  • Chili Powder
  • Hot Sauce
  • Mayo

I cook my Ramen with a little bit of water, a pinch of Garlic Powder, a pinch of Onion Powder, and a pinch of Red Chili Pepper Flakes, and the Ramen flavoring packet. Once the water steams out, I transfer it to a bowl and add Chili Powder, Hot Sauce, and a spoonful of Mayo.

Stir, enjoy. Very cheap, very delicious. What's your go to ramen recipe?

If you're able to afford it, an egg and a slice of american cheese straight into the ramen after draining a bit of the water, it's sooo good

The egg sounds fantastic. You could get half a dozen of eggs for fairly cheap. Mmmmm~ I'm craving.

Thank you! I've been experimenting with other flavors. Just hard to make spectacular foods with not a whole lot of space in my mini-apartment.

I actually made this. And it tastes delicious. Thanks! I usually just use the nongshim ramen mix.
