been doing engineering at university, python is a great place to start. however as an IT major I imagine it would be more beneficial to learn JavaScript first.

Your question has no singular correct answer without further details, but if I was you, I would start with Python, can't really go wrong with it.

I really like python, it's useful but it depends on what you want to learn. Javascript is good for web hacking :)

JavaScript is definitely worth it—tons of job opportunities in web development. For easier languages, try Python; it's beginner-friendly and used in many fields like automation and data science. If you're into cybersecurity, Python is useful there too, along with learning bash and network basics. Keep exploring both!

JS is so easy to catch, cause it simply worqs in your browser without needs of any additional software.

But it's fuqing slow and have ugly syntax, i hate it.
