Hi, here is how to achieve perfect skin at reasonable prices.
First!!!! What's your skin type?
Oily Skin: Your pores will appear larger and more visible. Your face often looks shiny.
-
Dry Skin: Your pores are small and not very visible. After cleansing and patting your face dry, wait 30 minutes. If your skin feels very tight and flaky you've got dry skin.
-
Combination Skin: Your T-zone (nose and forehead) is oily, while the rest of your face is dry.
-
Normal Skin: Your skin is neither overly dry nor oily.
Each skincare routine will include three basic steps to keep it simple:
Cleanse
Exfoliate
Moisturize
(Optional) Sunscreen
I’ve selected reasonably priced products to ensure they are accessible for everyone. Let's start with a routine for oily skin:
Cleanser: Deep cleaning is essential for oily skin. Recommended options include CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser, Cetaphil Skin Cleanser, and La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Gel.
Exfoliate: Use gentle exfoliating toners 2-3 times a week. I suggest Paula’s Choice Toner with Niacinamide, Ole Henriksen Balancing Force Oil Control Toner, and La Roche-Posay Effaclar Toner.
Moisturizer: Choose a lightweight or oil-free moisturizer. Good options are CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Gel, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream, and Cetaphil Oil-Free Hydrating Lotion.
Oily skin is caused by excess sebum production, which can lead to acne. If you prefer a single-product solution, look for items containing niacinamide or retinoids, which help reduce oil production. These products are easily found in drugstores
TIP: Avoid pore-clogging products like Vaseline. Also, don't over-cleanse or over-exfoliate, as this can dry out your skin and increase oil production.
Dry skin:
Cleanser: Gentle, hydrating cleansers are essential for dry skin. Recommended options include CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, e.l.f. SKIN Holy Hydration Face Cream, and Byoma Jelly Cleanser. Oil cleansers are also a good.
Exfoliate: Use gentle exfoliating products 2-3 times a week. I suggest Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, Pixi Glow Tonic, and The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution.
?(Exfoliating isn't that important, u can double cleanse instead )
Moisturizer: Look for hydrating moisturizers. Good options are CeraVe Moisturizing Cream and CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. Remember to apply moisturizer to damp skin, not when it's dry.
If you are the type of person who only experience dry flaky skin at winter, id simply go with moisturizer.
TIP: drink loooots of water
Combo skin:
Very similar to the ones above !!double cleanse!! ( morning and night ) and do the same with moisturizing. The products can vary, whatever works best for u
