lol damn, its not a con mate, all accounts sold online are cracked accounts, cracked accounts == random accounts paid by some random dudes who have no idea that we have their ID/PASS and we sell them according to the subscription they have, its just your badluck that the account you got has renew date of 01/01/2019, the account could have any renew date ranging from 01/01/2019 to 31/12/2019(DD/MM/YYYY), it will still be sold in 2019 accounts, so unless you got that account in 2020, its not a con or scam, I hope this clears it up.
