Cracking terminology.

I am a little bit confused about some cracking terminology.

1. What the hell are configs and how are they obtained?
2. A checker is basically software that checks if the accounts work right?
3. Are combos just email and passwords obtained by leaked databases?

I don't want to just skid off tools, i want to actually understand what is going on. Any help is appreciated.

What the hell are configs and how are they obtained? Configs are files for software such as SNIPR, OpenBullet, BlackBullet, etc that allow the site to run credential stuffing attacks against a specific site.
A checker is basically software that checks if the accounts work right? Correct.
Are combos just email and passwords obtained by leaked databases? Correct, they can also be generated from password lists, but most commonly they'll be obtained using SQL Injection attacks.
