Changing BTC address script.

How does this work?

 

I see a lot of people on this forum falling victim to a scam where they install a script into greasemonkey and then all future bitcoin address's get changed to one owned by the scammer. Even if they remove/disable the script.

 

I tried reading the code but it gave me no clues.

 

I'm wondering how this works and where i can learn about it? I love crypto and had heard of this attack before but never actually seen it in the wild until coming here.

 

How can i recreate something like that with python so i can learn more?

address, or simply address, is an identifier of 26-35 alphanumeric characters, beginning with the number 1 , 3 or bc1 that represents a possible destination for a bitcoin payment. Addresses can be generated at no cost by any user of Bitcoin.
