this is going too far, I saw some really disturbing deep fakes of Joe Rogan, it totally blew my mind (even tho you can still kinda tell it's a deepfake). If that shit evolves, it's just a matter of time before the government  uses it to manipulate the masses and it's freaking me out.

Hopefully there will be a way to check this stuff.

 

I read about a filter that stops facial recognition from recognizing your face, it basically scrambles the code in the background of the pic and distorts it, yet doesn't change how the image looks to everyone else.

 

I guess something similar could be done with deepfakes by analyzing the code.
